The Inn on the River

Very outdated and worn down rooms. The hotel is very close to the street and we had big noise nearly all night long

love this place, we've stayed there several times before without any issues. our only complaint this time was the breakfast wasn't as good as before, the eggs weren't even warm.

My U13 soccer team stayed for the weekend!!! It was an amazing experience and we booked the meeting room and had a great time as a team hanging out and playing games! The boys and families loved the outdoor area and enjoyed playing in the creek! We even saw a bear!

We have stayed at this hotel in the past so chose to book again. It’s located within easy walking/driving distance of restaurants and attractions but on a river with benches and walkways and geese that make the area their home! Very good complimentary breakfast and popcorn in the evening. They leave a very special bookmark in an open bible in the room. Would definitely book again.

Rooms were clean and nice, showers are amazing. Breakfast was fantastic with lots to choose from. Staff were nice and friendly. Did I mention the breakfast was fantastic?!? Beds was comfortable and the stay was a 10 Will definitely recommend, and I will definitely return!!

The Inn on the River's location is a perfect spot right on the main drag. The hallways are cute (but a bit hot in our floor) and the main lobby area where they have breakfast and free popcorn and drinks in the evening is also very nice. Our ice machine was inoperable on the 4th floor, but the front desk was quick to provide ice when asked. There's an indoor pool and an outdoor pool that give you the opportunity to soak up the sun or get a little shade if needed. The rooms were clean and accommodating and the beds were comfortable. The full breakfast was a nice touch, but the repeated offerings of sausage did get a little stale. The links were a little overcooked and the biscuit gravy was definitely a pass. While the hotel is clean, and the accommodations are nice, it is the service that makes me want to come back. All the employees are friendly, willing to give you a recommendation to eat, and share their thoughts of attractions in the area. The room rates were extremely affordable, they have a rewards Club that makes it more affordable the next time you come back, and it's definitely worth staying here if you want to enjoy the Smoky Mountains, Pigeon Forge, or Gatlinburg. If you prefer to just relax at the Inn, and maybe say high to the local geese from the fenced patio overlooking the river, you can't go wrong here.
